The Knoll at Tigard Apartments has 48 units designed for seniors (age 55+).  A large community room is located on the ground floor facing Hall Boulevard, adjacent to a more private “living room” for the residents.

The project is transit-oriented, located on a bus line, near a rail line, and within walking distance to other community amenities such as the library, senior center, shops and restaurants. A living column graces the entry to the building (offering year-round vegetation). A 15,000 gallon cistern collects rainwater for reuse in flushing toilets.

The building includes local and recycled content materials, and energy efficient, safe and durable choices throughout. A code-required fire lane doubles as an elliptically-shaped community plaza, with permeable paving to mitigate storm water runoff. The building is non-smoking and pet friendly.
